The Art of Deception

So this is where he has been all this while – MASquerading as a registered accupuncturist and TCM physician somewhere in the heartlands of Singapore.

Where the sun don't shine..

The Colorectal Surgeon Song

Enjoy this cute simple ditty with a catchy tune and sweet two-part harmony (:
Thanks for the heads up Kaiping (:

We praise the colorectal surgeon
Misunderstood and much maligned
Slaving away in the heart of darkness
Working where the sun don't shine
Respect the colorectal surgeon
It's a calling few would crave
Lift up your hands and join us
Let's all do the finger wave

When it comes to spreading joy
There are many techniques
Some spread joy to the world
And others just spread cheeks
Some may think the cardiologist
Is their best friend
But the colorectal surgeon knows...
He'll get you in the end!

Why be a colorectal surgeon?
It's one of those mysterious things.
Is it because in that profession
There are always openings?

When I first met a colorectal surgeon
He did not quite understand;
I said, "Hey nice to meet you
But do you mind? We don't shake hands."

He sailed right through medical school
Because he was a whiz
Oh but he never thought of psychology
Though he read passages.
A doctor he wanted to be
For golf he loved to play,
But this is not quite what he meant...
By eighteen holes a day!

Praise the colorectal surgeon
Misunderstood and much maligned
Slaving away in the heart of darkness
Working where the sun don't shine!

Dispose all sharps..

'Scissors' are sharps too..

(They're actually a pair of tongs to retriever items from inside the sharps box. This stems from a joke between Pravin and myself regarding the disposal of sharps..)

We don't need no terrorists.. Hanging around!

As you all know, we  are to be vigilant regarding the recently escaped terrorist, Mas Selamat bin Kastari. He had escaped the Whitley Road Detention centre last week, on the pretext of taking a wee.

Here's a public service flyer to aid us in our lookout for the fugitive on the run:

Slack la

"Since they pretend to pay me, I will pretend to do work." - Anonymous

Haha. That's something I read on an MSN nick.

Anyway, backlog of photos from the debates will be up when I have time.
I'm taking a break from taking photographs.. for a while.

And no, I'm not hinting at anything with that quote, unless you'd really like to contribute to the upkeep of my equipment! (:

Thanks to all those coming down to help MED RAG 07! And for the wonderful bunch of OGLs who came down for Pre-Camp. Medicamp's gona be real havoc.

laughter is the best medicine..

Here's something I read today in Reader's Digest, which I'll share with you all:

--

"I'll need to make a correction on the death certificate I handed you," my colleague told the nurse. "I realised I made an embarassing mistake."

"Sure, and what would that mistake be?" The nurse queried.

"I had signed it in a hurry, and failed to realised that I wrote my name under 'Cause of Death'."

--

And another one.

--

I was rostered to pilot a plane, which turned out to be an overbooked flight. To counter this problem, our airline decided to offer two volunteers free hotel accommodation, meal vouchers, and tickets for the next morning if they would decide to opt out of this flight. However, none of the restless passengers would do so, after the announcement had been made.

I decided to try some levity in this situation and spoke over the PA, "If it may help you in your decision, I'm not a very good pilot."

A voice shouted from behind the plane, "THEN YOU GET OFF!"

--

Cheers (: Happy holidays.

How to find out if you are indeed an M2 now and NO LONGER an M1.

Instructions
1. Go to the Anatomy Museum.
2. Tap your matric card.
3. If your access is denied because there is "No such user", then you don't belong to M1 anymore!
